The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Pro Series 2025 was one of the largest esports tournaments in the country, bringing together professional gamers, production crews, live-streaming teams, and a massive live audience. Unlike concerts, esports events demand silent but highly effective communication systems that do not interfere with broadcast production.
Omega Airlink Solutions provided a custom-designed communication setup for the event, ensuring coordination across production control rooms, backstage crew, security, and technical staff. Our walkie-talkies with earpiece attachments enabled discreet communication, crucial for a live-streamed event where background noise could affect the viewer's experience.
In addition, we deployed CCTV surveillance systems to monitor audience areas, gaming zones, and backstage sections. Access control was another key requirement, as only authorised personnel such as players, referees, and production staff were allowed in restricted zones. Omega Airlink’s ID-based access and scanning systems helped streamline these movements.
Esports events also demand reliable backup systems since downtime can severely impact live streams and reputation. We ensured redundant communication setups, with additional radios and support staff available on-site.
